CHARACTERS

Sakuta Azusagawa

An odd 2nd year high school student who still does not own a cellphone. Infamous through rumors for having caused a violent incident, he is isolated at school. However, he does not seem to mind it.

Mai Sakurajima

A 3rd year at Minegahara High School. She was a popular national celebrity until her entertainment activities were suspended. Since her life revolved around entertainment activities, she is isolated at school. She is serious and polite, but also strong-willed.

Tomoe Koga

A 1st year at Minegahara High School. She is a considerate and modern high school girl, but can be a bit of a scatterbrain at times. She is careful to hide her Hakata dialect when around others, but it slips out of her mouth the moment she panics or gets distracted.

Rio Futaba

A girl with a calm disposition, who is also Sakuta's classmate. She is the lone member of the Science Club, and is known as an eccentric person in school. She is one of Sakuta's few friends and she gives him advises on the Puberty Syndrome.

Nodoka Toyohama

Mai’s half-sister with a different mother. She is the fashionista rep of the idol group “Sweet Barrett”. Despite her flashy appearance, she goes to a private high school for the rich. She is very stubborn and hates to lose.

Kaede Azusagawa

Sakuta’s younger sister. Due to her past experience of being bullied, she stays at home all the time. She loves pandas and her older brother, and strives to become the ideal sister. As a daily routine, she wakes Sakuta up every morning.

Shoko Makinohara

A girl who has the same name as Sakuta's first love. A shy but reliable and kind-hearted middle school student. She first met Sakuta on a rainy day, when she was giving her umbrella to a stray cat.

Shoko Makinohara

Sakuta's first love. Sakuta met her during his middle school days at the shore of Shichirigahama. She claims to be a student of Minegahara High School, but there is no record of her enrollment. Other than her name, nothing is known of her and is enshrouded in mystery.
