#1 An Invitation to the Future

Four months after the battle at Nagoya Castle, Yu-yu and friends receive an invitation to a “Deluxe” tournament, where the strongest fighter is determined. There, both “Front Fighters” who are active in official tournaments, and hidden powerhouse “Counter Fighters” like “Blackout” gather.

Yuyu and friends will compete with new characters such as Raika, Michiru, and Urara, to become the strongest of them all!

#2 Deluxe Commences

"Deluxe", the tournament that would decide the strongest fighter commences. The opening ceremony takes place at Ariake Arena. Shortly before, the Top Fighter Michiru Hazama challenges Danji Momoyama to a fight. As two old acquaintances, what is it that Michiru entrusted Danji with?

#3 Skyfall Knight

Noteworthy battles unfold among the chosen participants at "Deluxe". Among them, is a battle between Yu-yu and Student Council President, Raika Koshiba. Yu-yu was looking forward to a match with Raika, who is an active pro as a Front Fighter on stage, however...

#4 XoverDress

Yu-yu is overwhelmed by the serious battle with Raika. Mirei visits Yu-yu to cheer him up and brings him a gift. The next opponent is his team mate, Zakusa Ishigame. As Zakusa pushes him with his all, what is this new power that Yu-yu is clad in?!

#5 Blossom at Dawn

Urara is unable to focus on the fight because of the "annoying sounds", and wishes to hear the sounds she heard when she first fought with Yu-yu once more. Mirei, her opponent, comes to understand Urara's feelings. Sounds heard by the heart, and lights seen by the heart. A real fight between the two begins.

#6 Proof of Legend

Megumi's opponent is none other than the one known as Japan's Number 1, Michiru. Ever since deciding to participate in "Deluxe", Megumi has been determined to put in more than twice the effort and training. Megumi, inheritor to the Legend of Kaga; her will gives rise to a marvelous onslaught!

#7 Pride of a Knight

It's time for a match between Front Fighters Raika and Taizo Kiyokura, a hotshot businessman who's in to both beautiful ladies and Vanguard. Taizo is a powerhouse fighter who has a history of wins under his belt. Can the talented young Raika see the path to victory?!

#8 Last Ticket

Yu-yu faces Taizo with the entry to the Top 8 on the line. Yu-yu, who fights while receiving support from his friends, is a fighter different from those that the cheerful Taizo usually faces. There seems to be a reason that Taizo is fighting for amidst admiration from his employees in this tournament.

#9 Divided Thoughts

After the fierce battles, fighters who won their way into the remaining 8 spots spend their time thinking before the next round begins. Yu-yu welcomes an unexpected guest, Tohya departs on a long journey, and Raika shows a new side apart from that which Urara wasn't good with.

#10 Symphony

First match of the "Deluxe" tournament quarterfinals. Yu-yu vs Urara. To Urara, it feels like a rematch of when she first encountered Vanguard. However, Urara receives support from the people around her and becomes too conscious of wanting to win, and begins to show Yu-yu an unexpected development of the fight...

#11 Ruler vs Skyfall

First match of the semifinals has two powerhouse fighters facing off. It is a ferocious fight between fellow knights Bastion and Tohya with a "thirst for strength" against Youthberk and Raika who thinks "there's no meaning apart from winning". What lies beyond this fight, and what does Raika's Skyfall aim to achieve?

#12 The Future is Here

Yu-yu and Michiru face off in the second match of the semifinals. Taizo says that Michiru's loneliness is due to his overwhelming strength. Without flinching against the strongest fighter, Yu-yu has decided to proceed to the finals in order to have a rematch against Raika. Michiru discovers something amidst the fight against Yu-yu.

#13 Dress x Dress

Final match of Deluxe. Yu-yu, who never forgets to "enjoy the fight" no matter which strong opponent he faces, and Raika, a genius who values winning above all else. The fight between the two with different beliefs leads to a development beyond imagination. Who will be known as history's strongest fighter?!

CHARACTERS

Yu-yu Kondo (CV: Shota Aoi)

A first-year high school student living in Kanazawa City. He was drawn into Vanguard Fights after the sudden appearance of Danji Momoyama. He has a kind personality and is considerate of others.

Raika Koshiba (CV: Jin Ogasawara)

A member of the Corporate Youth Team "Tirnanog Youth". He is result-oriented and initially clashed with Yu-yu but now maintains a good relationship with him as a rival.

Urara Haneyama (CV: Karin Kagami)

A member of "Blackout". She stumbled upon Vanguard at the night amusement park by chance and has been deeply engrossed in it ever since.
