mono is coming to ANIPLUS this April!
mono is based on the Japanese four-panel manga series of same name, written and illustrated by Afro.
It began serialization in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine in May 2017, and was later transferred to the Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine in December 2017.

Satsuki Amamiya, a high school Photography Club member, was feeling down due to the graduation of her beloved club president. However, with encouragement from her best friend and fellow member, An Kiriyama, Satsuki decides to dedicate herself to the club’s activities once again.
The 360-degree camera that Satsuki eagerly bought at an auction has not arrived. An investigates the seller and discovers that the person lives very close to the school.
The seller’s address leads Satsuki and An to a candy store. There, they meet the manga artist Haruno Akiyama, who asks them to model for her manga.
Sakurako Shikishima, a former Cinema Club member, joins the “Cinephoto Club”, which is the Cinema Club and Photography Club merged. They decide to cooperate with Haruno on gathering reference materials, but…?
The ending theme song, “Weekend Roll”, is performed by halca.
