Tappei Nagatsuki, author of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, has teamed up with character designer Takuya Fujima (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) and world designer Takaaki Suzuki (Girls und Panzer) on a new original anime series.
The title of the series is Warlords of Sigrdrifa. A teaser video and visual featuring a female protagonist before a biplane accompanied the production announcement.

Nagatsuki, who is in charge of series composition and screenplay, shared his thoughts on the new project, “I have always loved anime and dreamed of realising my own work into the medium, so this time I was allowed to write for this anime and it has been a breeze! With the world-building of Mr. Suzuki and illustrations of Mr. Fujima, we are able to put together a story full of soul. I hope you will enjoy it! I love strong women, and the men who love them!”
