I have lived my life with sincerity, because of a bittersweet lesson from my first anime, the dog of flanders. It has taught me the most important lesson of all; that everything comes to an end, but not all endings should be sad, because through our ties with those dear to us, through pain and sacrifice, we just might be able to have our own happy ending like patrasche and Nelo. Even now, twenty years later, anime continues to bring me precious insight. Anime did not change my life, it has been a part of it from the very beginning.
