Anime... I would call it my mentor, as it had thought me a lot of things my teachers had unsuccessfully tried to teach the younger me. Anime was, and still is, my motivation for a Change. I am grateful that my past self had stumbled across Bleach, the very first anime I remembered watching. If I had not, I would have never chosen my current career path. Unohana Retsu became my hero(ine). I had thought that she was an amazing person, even though she was only a fictional character. Anime has influenced my outlook in life. My whole perception was changed, and thankfully, for the better. I took another road, altered my story, and ended up changing my whole life. I am grateful for anime, for without it, I would have never chosen to be Nurse.
