How Anime Saved My Life

I was there on the hospital bed, lying on my back and thinking whether I should just go and leave this world. There was nothing that holds me here. A lot of problems were bearing down on my shoulders and I am thinking of the hospital bills. Can we pay it off? Will I even be alive after the operation? Can I get back on my feet after this? If I died, I could go to different places, board a plane going to Japan and just stay there for as long as I am dead. But then I thought, what if I could not board the plane? What if I became left behind during the take off? What if I could not read my favorite manga or watch it just because my hands would pass through? And so I fought back my disease, wished so hard that I would push through that trial in my life. I could not die yet, not until One Piece hasn't finished and everyone knows it would be years before it is done. And now I am healthy and back to being an admin in one of the pages in Facebook dedicated to One Piece in our home country.
