My first anime was Naruto, I was still a brat then. Now, as a teenager, I have grown and matured and though I have begun to stray from Shonen titles, my love for anime has yet to subside. From the brilliant characterizations of Oregairu changing my own personal beliefs to the mind boggling visual and philosophical puzzles of Serial Experiments Lain, furthering the medium of animation that no western animation has ever gone before. Anime is art, and will continue to influence us no matter how long time has passed. And to anime, I say thank you for everything.
