The trilogy is set approximately 100 years in the future, within Japan and Asia. Each part will tell the stories of the events across the present, past and future. Fighting crime are the Enforcers who are deemed to contain exceedingly high Crime Coefficients and the elite officers—Inspectors who are selected by the Sybil System.
To prevent crime, one requires the instincts of a hound and the intelligence of a hunter. Each event will reveal unexpected truths and reflect the current state of the world. The missing links within the untold stories of PSYCHO-PASS will finally be revealed.

CHARACTERS
An Enforcer in Division 1 of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau. Has a clear mind and sharp eyes. Formerly an Inspector, he was demoted to Enforcer after his Crime Coefficient worsened. Following the footsteps of his father, Masaoka, who was killed, he decided to continue as an Enforcer.
Inspector in Division 1 of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau. Youngest to be appointed as an Inspector from the occupation eligibility exam by the Sibyl System. Believes that Sibyl System is the absolute justice for preventing crime.

Later, he becomes an Enforcer in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau.

Behind her bright, cheerful and friendly personality, she hides her will for revenge.
An Assistant Officer within of the Suppressing Action Department of the Foreign Affairs Operations. She travels to the Tibet-Himalaya United Kingdom as part of an investigation into the "Abandoned Japanese", Japanese who can no longer return to Japan with the introduction of the Sibyl System. She encounters Kogami, an escaped Enforcer.
